Supported by the Lendlease Foundation, Jem is the first retail mall in Singapore to partner with the Disabled People’s Association to create an Access Guide to facilitate easy navigation for visitors with diverse access needs, including those with disabilities and limited mobility.

Opening Hours:
10am to 10pm dailyBy CarJem is located at the corner of Jurong Gateway Road and Boon Lay Way. Jem can be accessed via Exit 27 on PIE and Exit 11 on AYE.
By BusJurong East Interim Bus Interchange connects to Jem via an overpass. These lead to Entrances B and C on Level 1 and Entrance G on Level 2.
By MRTThere is a direct entrance (Entrance G) to Jem from Jurong East MRT Station (EW 24, NS 1). This entrance connects to Level 2 of Jem. The MRT Station can also be accessed via Entrances B and C on Level 1.

Accessible Toilets
There is at least one accessible toilet on each level from B1 to L5.
- Motion activated sliding doors on all accessible toilets
- “Wave to open” sensors are mounted at 0.95m next to door
- No braille on sensor
Parent RoomsThere are parent rooms on L2, L3 and L4.
- Rooms can be accessed via a “press to open” button
- Button is mounted at a height of 0.38m next to door
- No braille on button
Family RoomsThere are family rooms on B1, L3 and L5.
- Rooms are accessed by communicating with command office via a touchscreen
- Touchscreen is mounted at 1.25m next to door
- Intercom system does not have an interactive video feature
- No instructions in braille
ATMs
LiftsEscalatorsThere are escalators that serves B1 to L5.
- Two-levelled step entry and exit
- No flashing red and steady green lights to warn visitors
- Please be careful
TravelatorsThere are travelators that serves B1 to B3.
- Emits loud sounds connecting B1 to B2.
Guide DogsJem is guide dog friendly.
Mobility AidsManual and motorised wheelchairs are welcome at Jem.
- No charging points for motorised wheelchairs
- Complimentary wheelchairs for hire at Concierge at L3
- Wheelchairs are available on a first come, first served basis
Fire Evacuation and Rescue InformationIn the event of an emergency, refer to the Evacuation Plan that is present at the Lift Lobbies. This plan includes information about the accessible routes for evacuation. In case of fires, do not use the lifts.
Concierge ServicesThe Concierge is located on L3 opposite Shaburi & Kintan Buffet (#03-11/12). The low counter is 0.8m high while the high counter is 1.1m high.
Opening Hours: 10am - 10pm

We listen to the needs of all persons with disabilities in Singapore, their allies, carers and other social service organisations that provide essential services and we ensure their needs are represented at a national level. LevelField Consultants advocates and promotes the need for an environment that is accessible, safe and inclusive for persons of all ages and abilities. In addition, we strive to improve the level of awareness about the need for a friendly and conducive built environment to promote the social inclusion of all in particular people with disabilities and the elderly.
What we do
LevelField Consultants conducts access audits and provides advice and recommendations to developers, architects, town planners, facility managers, service providers and businesses to improve accessibility and work towards achieving universal design while ensuring compliance of the Code on Accessibility in the Built Environment.Through our trained and experienced access auditors, LevelField Consultants capitalises on this knowledge to explain the hows and whys of accessibility in a functional and practical manner. LevelField Consultants also conducts accessibility and universal design training and is the only known accessibility consultancy in Singapore. It champions an inclusive built environment.
